A suggested 7-day outline

This route links Central Vietnam’s coast, old town and historic capital. Adjust the sequence and overnight stays around your arrival, departure and interests.

• Days 1–2: Arrive in Da Nang and explore the city, including a choice of coastal or Son Tra sights.
• Day 3: Set aside a day for Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge, if it suits your interests.
• Days 4–5: Stay in or near Hoi An and explore the Ancient Town, with time to enjoy its atmosphere at an unhurried pace.
• Days 6–7: Include Hue and its Imperial Citadel, then plan the onward journey around your departure.

A coast, a river town and a former capital

Central Vietnam brings different settings within reach of a single regional plan. Da Nang offers a coastal base, Hoi An is known for its Ancient Town and lantern-lit evenings, while Hue adds a distinct historical perspective. The route can lean towards heritage, local discovery or time to unwind.
